Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and prepare high-quality dishes
- Ensure food preparation and cooking processes meet food safety and sanitation standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in various cooking techniques and food presentation
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist in menu planning and development
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and presentation
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
