We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess 2 Rosette Experience.
They will have strong leadership skills, extensive culinary knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the executive Chef in managing daily operations, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety are maintained. Duties
Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including training new team members and managing shift schedules.
Oversee food production to ensure consistency, presentation, and adherence to recipes.
Monitor food safety practices and maintain compliance with health & safety regulations.
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
Support in serving guests when required, ensuring excellent customer service.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen setting.
Extensive food production and culinary experience, with a strong understanding of various cooking techniques.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of staff.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards.
Experience in restaurant environments with a focus on hospitality excellence.
Ability to prepare high-quality dishes efficiently under pressure.
Leadership qualities with an emphasis on training, coaching, and developing team members.
Competence in managing food preparation processes while maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
