We have an exciting opportunity for a keen

Sous Chef

to join our Kitchen Team here at

Old Thorns Hotel & Resort

.

The role will give you the opportunity to learn and develop in the kitchen, with good potential to progress within the company. You should have high standards of food preparation and presentation, ensuring food wastage is kept to a minimum.

You will be working in one of the many kitchens, be it our lively Sports Bar offering pub style food, our Kings Restaurant offering our residents breakfast and dinner or our banquet kitchens where we cater for up to 450 covers on a busy wedding or tribute night.

Old Thorns is a leading four-star hotel & resort in Hampshire which is easily accessible from the A3, Guildford and Portsmouth. We offer a wide range of accommodation, conference & function facilities, restaurants / bars, health club and spa. Our Peter Alliss designed championship golf course is in Golf World's Top 100 Great Britain and Ireland.

Training will be provided so you can progress in your career.

The pay listed is based on a scale and is affected by factors, including prior experience and qualifications.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Previous experience within a similar role High volume catering desirable Passionate about delivering quality food Be efficient, organised and work well within a team

Pay: 38,000.00-40,000.00 per year
