Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the Head Chef in managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Duties



Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus, ensuring consistency and quality. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Oversee food production, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards in presentation and taste. Coordinate food preparation activities, maintaining smooth kitchen operations during service hours. Monitor food safety practices, hygiene standards, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations. Manage inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste. Support training programmes for junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements



Proven supervisory experience within a busy kitchen environment. Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Experience working in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly essential. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. Strong communication skills and a professional attitude towards service excellence. Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences. Pay: 48,000.00-53,000.00 per year
