Two restaurants in one building, where OMA is inspired by the fishing villages and shores of the Greek isles and further Levant, and AGORA is inspired by the energy of Athens's markets and streets. About the role.





We are looking for an experienced senior sous chef to join our team.


This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, creative environment and is ready to take on a more senior role within a supportive and well-established team.


You'll be cooking in a kitchen that cares about the food it sends out and be working with amazing, fresh produce from some of the best suppliers in the country alongside a well-established and tight knit team.


You'll work closely with the Head Chef and play a key role in leading the team day to day, helping to maintain the quality, consistency, and atmosphere of the kitchen.

Responsibilities.



Working with the head chef to manage the wider team. Supporting and guiding the team during service and leading when required. Leading by experience and fostering a positive, supporting team culture. Dealing with suppliers, building and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts. Making sure that every dish reflects the quality and standard of our restaurant. Keeping a sense of calm and control during busy services. Overseeing daily kitchen tasks, oragnisation and management. Working with wider restaurant management team to uphold the quality and experience of our restaurant.

Requirements.



Previous experience in a professional restaurant environment essential. A positive attitude and a hands-on approach A genuine passion for great food and fresh produce
