We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to asasist in leading our kitchen team and oversee all culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, coupled with exceptional cooking and team management skills. As the Sous Chef, you will assist in the responsibility for assisting in creating innovative menus, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

Duties
Assist and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production.
Work alongside Chef in creating menus and specials that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Actively assist in food preparation processes, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish served.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and improve team performance.
Assist in stock management and inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Monitor kitchen operations to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.
Manage the kitchen team and all aspects of kitchen duties on chef' dayts off.
Skills
Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
Extensive culinary experience with a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen.
Previous restaurant experience is essential, along with a strong understanding of serving protocols.
Skills in carvery a great advantage.
