We are currently seeking talented Sous Chefs of all levels for our 4Country House Hotel & Spa in Angus. Open to a chef & housekeeping couple.
Voted Best Scottish 4Hotel North 2025 and Best Scottish Independently Owned Hotel Highly Recommended 2025.
As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences. Our high kitchen standards mean that all food is freshly cooked from scratch using local and seasonal produce.

Accomodation is available if required.

Responsibilities:

- Assist our Chef in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.

- Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and presentation.

- Maintain food safety protocols and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.

- Help manage food costs and waste control to maximise profitability.

Requirements:

- At least 5 years experience in a hotel, hospitality or restaurant kitchen setting.
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Health and safety knowledge required.
