Salary: 23.49 per hour (42,000+ per year equivalent)

Hours: 42 hours per week (Days & Nights - Flexible Rota)

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse to join our well-established nursing home in Bungay. This is a hands-on clinical leadership role, perfect for a Registered Nurse (NMC Pin required) with experience in elderly care, dementia, or general nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a care home/nursing home setting

Lead medication rounds, ensuring safe administration and compliance

Work autonomously on day shifts and support night teams when required

Supervise and mentor junior nurses and healthcare assistants

Collaborate with the Deputy Manager and multidisciplinary team

Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NMC guidelines

Ensure person-centered care plans are followed

Requirements:

Valid NMC Pin (RGN/RMN/RNLD) - Newly Qualified Nurses (Preceptorship Available!)

Minimum 1 year experience in a nursing home, care home, or hospital

Strong clinical skills - wound care, catheter management, medication administration

Ability to work flexible shifts (days & nights)

Excellent leadership and communication skills
