Senior Strategic Designer - Resource Solutions- 12 months- London (hybrid working)

The Opportunity:
As Senior Strategic Designer you will join our UK Innovation & Growth team works with internal teams to ensure the right innovative solutions reach the market. We bring a rigorous and commercially focused approach to identifying new opportunities and developing and launching new ventures.
We are a closely knit, small team of highly specialised individuals with diverse backgrounds. From Business Analytics to Design.
We are looking for a Senior Strategic Designer. Initially, as mat leave cover. But with a high potential to remain as a Full time employee at the end of the cover period.

Key responsibilities/aspects of role:

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders from EY to transform their organisations. Defining the vision, long-and-short-term goals, and the workable strategies to accomplish these goals.
• Lead on a wide spectrum of innovation projects from Discovery to Launch, recommending the right approaches, and managing timelines effectively.
• Work with the Business Design Lead to identify emerging opportunity territories for the business.
• Bring the voice of the customer to bear. Conducting quantitative and qualitative insight across projects, and strategically applying learnings.

Key skills/experience:

• Minimum 7 years\' experience in innovation, strategy design, research and insights, service design, or related field either in-house or consultancy.
• Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end product life cycle, shaping the product vision and roadmap, delivering strong customer experiences, and managing stakeholder interactions.
• An exceptional understanding of design thinking and lean start-up research tools and methodologies (and how to use apply them in different situations).
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically about new venture opportunities.
• Experience in facilitating workshops and sprints.
• Experience experimenting with B2C and B2B value propositions in market. Hands on content writing and creative design skills a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills including excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills as well as someone who is motivated and eager to learn new ways of working.
• A passion for the innovation space, constantly looking for better tools and methods.
• A passion for coaching others and instilling a culture of innovation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
