The Role
We are looking for an
outgoing, experienced Strength & Conditioning Coach (3-5+ years coaching experience)
who brings energy, professionalism, and a passion for helping people improve.
You will coach across a range of populations including:
Youth athletes (key part of the role)
General population
Older adults
Athletes and sports teams
You will also contribute to leadership within the coaching team by supporting standards, coach development, and programming discussions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality coaching across group classes, semi-private training and 1:1 coaching
Lead and support our Youth Strength & Conditioning programmes
Build personalised, progressive training plans
Support clients with basic nutrition and lifestyle guidance
Monitor and adjust client programmes based on progress
Communicate effectively with clients and coaching staff
Attend weekly coach development meetings
Attend weekly management meetings
Coach across both ION facilities when required
What We're Looking For
Outgoing, highly motivated
coach with excellent people skills
Confident delivering both group and individual training
Experience coaching youth athletes (essential)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Strong social media presence and confidence creating coaching content
Committed to ongoing development and learning
Full UK driving licence
Lives the lifestyle - practices what you preach
Qualifications
MSc, Undergraduate Degree, UKSCA Accreditation or similar (others considered)
Minimum 3-5+ years coaching experience
Strong communication skills and high personal standards
Hours & Pay
Full-time role:
35-40 hours per week
Includes coaching, admin, coach development and wider operational duties
Base Salary:
30,000
OTE:
37,500-40,000+ through PT, Small Group, Youth and Corporate coaching
Must be available for early mornings, evenings and weekends
