About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tekla Detailer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the detailing process, producing accurate and efficient Tekla models and fabrication drawings for both structural and architectural steelwork. You'll work closely with engineers, architects, project managers and in house fabrication teams to ensure seamless project execution, maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the design office team, distributing the various projects as they arrive in the office based on team members skills, abilities, and workload. Overseeing the Assesmont detailing teams works and ensuring compliance with building regulations on design intents. Produce detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures software. Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs align with project specifications. Conduct quality checks on models and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards. Provide support during fabrication and construction phases, addressing any detailing-related issues. Uploading designs onto client platforms for comment and approval. Ensuring full compliance from the drawing office with regard to UK-CA ES BN 1090 and ISO 9001. General design office duties.

About You:

Proven experience in steel detailing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your Tekla skills. A minimum of 10 years' experience in the structural and architectural steel industry. Expertise in Tekla Structures software, with knowledge of advanced modelling techniques. In-depth understanding of structural and architectural steelwork. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Proven ability to run a team of detailers.
