Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality and food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary and restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. The Senior Supervisor will be responsible for managing staff, supervising food preparation and service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen and front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service delivery
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
Manage team members, including assigning tasks, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of operation
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation
Assist in developing menus and specials in collaboration with culinary staff
Handle customer feedback professionally, resolving issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
Lead by example in hospitality practices such as serving guests courteously and maintaining a welcoming environment
Implement health and safety policies within the team to minimise risks
Support recruitment processes for new staff members
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel services is desirable
Familiarity with restaurant or barista operations is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Leadership qualities with a focus on customer service excellence
Previous experience in culinary roles such as chef or cook is beneficial but not essential
A recognised qualification in hospitality management or culinary arts is preferred

Pay: 12.75-13.00 per hour
