Reporting to the Operations Manager, having responsibility for the day-to-day production and overall supervision of the production supervisors and production operators.

Your main duties include:



Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements, including correct PPE usage, adherence to safe working procedures, and maintenance of housekeeping standards.

Manage production priorities to ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets are achieved.

Organise and coordinate production shifts to maintain a smooth workflow and balacked WIP levels across all stations.

Monitor productivity performance, identify root causes of underperformance, and escalate issues to the Operations Manager.

Capture shift performance in the daily supervisor report and communicate key updates to the next shift to ensure continuity.

Ensuring 5S, process control, and operator maintenance are completed to a high standard.

Ensure site opening and lock-up procedures are completed, and all pre-start and end-of-shift checks are followed.

Oversee team discipline, attendance and high work standards. Conduct meetings if escalation is necessary.

Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and that all documentation is accurate, legible, and properly filed.

Oversee product quality by monitoring FPC and ensuring all in-process and final inspections and tests are completed as per procedure.

Drive production to meet schedule, productivity, and 'Right First Time' quality targets, reporting any deviations or quality issues proactively.

Collaborate with the Production Planner and Supervisors to ensure planned processes are executed within the required timeframes.

Promote and enforce best practices across the team, providing feedback and acting as a gatekeeper for process standards.

Work with the Operations Manager to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure daily and routine maintenance (PPM), start-up, and shutdown checks are completed, with attention to critical process parameters.

Oversee end-of-shift cleaning, maintenance, and documentation to ensure completion On Time, In Full (OTIF).

You are expected to have the knowledge, skills and abilities to:



Demonstrate a good knowledge of Health and Safety. Be able to lead, manage and develop a team. Natural and strong leadership Have a working knowledge of continuous improvement. Have good organizational and priority management skills

You are likely to have received an education or be competent in:



IOSH Managing Safely Preferable to have a degree in an Engineering discipline. 5 years of supervision or management experience 5 years of manufacturing experience

Pay: 40,000.00-42,000.00 per year
