We are looking for a Senior Support Practitioner (SSP) to join our Support Services team

based in Renfrew.





About the Role:


Provide direct support while also taking on leadership responsibilities. Empower and coach your colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-led support. Lead on aspects of service design, recruitment, and probation. Support teams to build confidence, resilience, and strong community
connections.
Work closely with the person supported, their family, and circle to ensure their
goals and aspirations are at the centre of everything we do.
Participate in the organisation's on-call rota, providing advice and guidance
during out-of-hours emergencies

What we're looking for:
A commitment to person-led, rights-based and trauma-informed practice. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Confidence in coaching, problem-solving, and supporting others. Organisational skills with the ability to balance frontline support and leadership. Flexibility, resilience, and a willingness to learn.
Requirements
Membership of the PVG Scheme. Registration with the SSSC within three months of employment. Possess relevant SVQ3 qualification


Reporting to: Service Leader /Area Manager
