The Role
As a
Senior Support Worker
, you'll play a key role in both supporting individuals and leading your team.
You'll be hands-on in delivering high-quality, person-centred support, while also ensuring the smooth running of the service day to day.
Responsibilities include:
Leading by example and motivating your team to deliver excellent support.
Supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism to achieve personal goals, develop skills, and build independence.
Overseeing shift planning, rotas, and staff allocation.
Carrying out audits, checks, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards in line with CQC requirements.
Coaching and mentoring Support Workers, helping them grow in skills and confidence.
Building positive relationships with families, professionals, and colleagues.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about making a difference.
You will:
Value people's abilities and potential.
Balance direct support with leadership responsibilities.
Be confident in rota planning, shift leadership, and maintaining records.
Have experience in social care (ideally with a Level 3 qualification, or willing to work towards it).
Take pride in supporting others to achieve progress and independence.
Hold a full manual Driving License
