Senior Support Worker to join our existing management team in Carlisle.
As a Senior Support worker you will support the management of a small, homely, 27 bed residential care home in Carlisle. Providing 24 hour support for older adults that require additional care and support, but without the need for specialist nursing Care. At The Laurels we

As a Senior Support Worker we ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, caring for their Physical, Psychological and Social needs. Assisting residents with personal care activities including personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals and support to fully engage in activities.
Above all, we're looking for
kind and caring people
who want a job where they can really make a difference to people's lives. Previous experience working in a Care home environment is desirable but not essential. However experience of
leading a team and qualifications in care are essential (Level 2 or above)
. As is the willingness to
work flexibly according to the needs of the service
to include daytimes, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
