We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our team and play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people to develop independence and confidence, while taking on additional responsibilities on shift.

About the Role



As a Senior Support Worker, you will be a key member of the home's leadership on shift. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and supporting staff on shift, ensuring smooth handover, daily logs, and care plan updates. Delivering high-quality therapeutic care, supporting young people with routines, education, life skills, and emotional well-being. Acting as a positive role model for both children and colleagues, fostering trust, respect, and a nurturing environment. Assisting with medication administration, audits, and safeguarding procedures. Supporting key work sessions and personalised interventions to help young people achieve personal goals. Contributing to rota management and shift coverage, including sleep-ins and on-call duties. Maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and organisational standards.

What We're Looking For



Relevant qualification in Residential Childcare . Experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEMH needs. Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Compassion, resilience, and a genuine passion for making a difference. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and on-call duties. Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Pay: 33,000.00-35,000.00 per year
