32,000 - 34,000 per annum (dependent on experience & qualifications)

Days, evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-ins (rotational shifts)

We are now looking for a

Senior Residential Support Worker

who is experienced, motivated, and ready to take the next step in their career. You'll be a key member of our team--supporting the young people in our care and mentoring junior staff to maintain a high standard of care and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people in line with individual care plans Lead shifts and support with rota planning and daily delegation Serve as a positive role model and mentor for other support workers Support children with education, activities, and life skills development De-escalate challenging behaviours using trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches Complete reports, risk assessments, and incident records to a high standard Ensure safeguarding and compliance with all relevant legislation and care standards Work in partnership with external agencies, schools, and families

What We're Looking For:

Minimum of 2 years' experience working in residential childcare NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent - essential) A calm, confident, and consistent approach to care Ability to lead, support, and develop others Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills A full UK driving licence (essential) Flexibility to work on a rota including weekends, evenings, and sleep-ins
