Senior Support Worker

Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day care, guidance, and support to children in a residential setting
Support the Registered Manager in the daily running of the home
Lead and mentor a team of Support Workers to ensure high-quality care
Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs
Promote a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children
Ensure all safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed
Participate in regular supervision, training, and team meetings
Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a residential childcare setting
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential
Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and trauma-informed care
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
Full UK driving licence - desirable
