As we continue to expand across North London, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Support Worker to lead shifts, support staff, and help young people rebuild their futures.

What the Role Looks Like
This is your opportunity to make a deeper impact -- not only through care but through leadership. In this role, you will:
Lead shifts, mentor junior staff, and uphold high-quality standards in practice
Support young people with daily routines, education, and life skills
Manage incidents, maintain and update care plans, and work closely with external professionals
Act as a calm, confident role model in a trauma-informed environment
Take part in the senior on-call rota (50 per day, minimum 7 days per month = 350+)
Your Weekly Pattern
Week 1: 3 shifts (approximately 37.5 hours)
Week 2: 4 shifts (approximately 50 hours)
Includes a mix of day shifts, sleep-ins, and waking nights
What You'll Need
Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a children's residential care setting
Strong, confident leadership during shifts
A calm and therapeutic approach under pressure
Full UK driving licence preferred, but not essential
What You'll Get
