Location: Lymington


Salary: 28,000 - 31,000 (Plus Sleeps)


Contract Type: Permanent, 40 hours/week (Shifts typically - 1 or 2 on

About the Role


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our children's residential team. You will support the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care using the PACE method (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) to help children feel safe, understood, and supported in a nurturing environment.


Your role will involve:


Delivering care in line with company policies, Quality Standards for Children's Homes, and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015. Creating a safe, supportive, and structured environment that promotes emotional well-being, health, education, and personal development. Working collaboratively with other agencies to develop and implement individual care plans and risk assessments. Acting as a key worker, helping young people build life skills, independence, and resilience, while prioritising their views, wishes, and emotional needs. Supporting children through trauma, challenging behaviours, and difficult experiences with empathy, patience, and consistency.
This role requires flexibility, including sleep-in duties, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
