Senior Residential Support Worker
at our children's home in
Chipping

What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Support Worker, you'll help guide your team and ensure the home runs smoothly, safely, and with heart. Your day to day includes:
Leading and mentoring support staff during shifts
Supporting care planning and behaviour strategies
Writing reports for Looked After Child (LAC) and Personal Education Plan (PEP) reviews
Overseeing petty cash and daily activity planning
Updating placement plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding documentation
Keeping social workers up to date with weekly reports
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a children's residential care setting
NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or willing to work toward it)
Calm, confident leadership even when things get tough
Strong understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management
UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK with 3 years' residency (for NVQ funding)
