Hours:

38.5 hours per week

Salary:

27,727.70 per annum / 13.85 per hour + 15.35 overtime

to join our new 10-bed rehabilitation service,

Heathy House

, in Halifax. This residential service focuses on providing a step-down facility, helping individuals transition towards independent living.

About the Role:

As a Senior Recovery Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to live as independently as possible while achieving their personal goals. Your working hours will be from

:45am to 7:45pm

on a rotating two-week rota:

Week 1:

Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Support and supervise Recovery Support Workers in assisting residents with daily living tasks to promote independence. Provide personal care and ensure high-quality care delivery in line with evidence-based practices. Act as a role model and take responsibility for the unit in the absence of management. Mentor new staff and participate in ongoing staff development through supervision and training. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the well-being of service users is at the forefront of care. Facilitate recovery-focused activities and support residents in achieving their personal goals. Handle medication and maintain accurate care records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Requirements:

Experience working with individuals with mental health issues. A strong understanding of care plans and risk assessments. Excellent communication and leadership skills. A commitment to promoting recovery and social inclusion.
