To work As a Senior Support Worker you will play a key role in the day to day management of the service. You will provide support and supervision to the team of support staff, be key to managing the rota, and work directly with staff, provide on the job coaching, feedback and be a role model. For this role, the person / people you will be supporting has: a learning disability and mental health needs, physical needs and behaviours that may challenge. They will need you to provide support with personal care and social and emotional support, either at home and / or in their local community.
You need to be positive and committed to supporting and improving people's lives through person centred approaches and team work. To reach your full potential in this role you need to have the right values in working with people, leadership skills a work as a team. You need to be a good role model and lead by example. You will work alongside staff to develop their confidence and skills to provide excellent support, by giving feedback to enable staff to develop.

Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour
