We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our therapeutic children's residential home in Marlow, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and complex needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Support Worker looking to progress into a senior role, develop leadership skills, and continue making a direct, positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

Lead shifts and support staff to deliver high-quality, consistent care Provide emotional and practical support tailored to each young person Act as a positive role model and mentor to junior team members Contribute to personalised care plans and therapeutic interventions Help maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing home environment Ensure full compliance with safeguarding procedures and Ofsted regulations Build and maintain professional relationships with families, social workers, and external agencies Maintain accurate, detailed records and contribute to reviews
Requirements

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential Experience working in a children's residential care setting - required Leadership or shift-leading experience - desirable Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills A compassionate, resilient, and child-centred approach Full UK driving licence - preferred
