JOB ROLE: Senior Support Worker

LOCATION: Mond Court, Clydach (SA6)

SALARY: \xc2\xa312.60 to \xc2\xa313.20* per hour

Due to continued growth, we are urgently seeking full time (35 hours per week) Senior Support Workers to join our team at Mond Court.

If you are a Care Assistant / Support Worker with an NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care and the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every, this may be the role for you!

About Mond Court:

At Mond Court Apartments we support six people with Mental Health needs, who may also have Learning Disabilities or a dual diagnosis. We support individuals who may also have challenging behaviours and/or drug and alcohol problems.

We are looking for someone outgoing, enthusiastic and confident to join our team. You\'ll be working in a challenging environment so must be able to follow instructions and make your own decisions when required to ensure the wellbeing of our clients.

Working as part of a team, you must be able to adapt, be a team player and flexible to the needs of the home. We are looking for a confident person who will be able to accompany and engage with our clients on various outdoor activities including Swimming, fishing, rock climbing and mountain walks.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

  • Managing a team of Support Workers
  • Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
  • Liaise with health professionals and their families
  • Complete supervisions and audits
  • To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
