Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with disabilities or additional needs
Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, medication support, and meal preparation
Promote independence by supporting individuals to develop life skills and reach personal goals
Encourage participation in community life, social activities, and meaningful connections
Maintain accurate records and promptly report any changes in health or behaviour to management
Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external professionals to ensure holistic care
There is an expectation that a support worker will do at least
two
sleep-ins per week.

What We're Looking For
A minimum Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) - essential
Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities or within supported living settings
A strong commitment to relationship-based care and being part of a cohesive, values-driven team
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with individuals and families
Empathy, reliability, and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of residents
A positive, proactive approach and a genuine desire to enhance the lives of others

Shift Patterns:
9:45pm-7:30am
You will benefit from a rolling rota with one weekend off in every three.
