We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our therapeutic children's residential home near Langley, Slough. Key Responsibilities
Provide consistent emotional and practical support tailored to each young person's individual needs
Act as a positive role model and mentor to junior staff, promoting best practice and professional development
Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans and therapeutic strategies
Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing home environment that promotes wellbeing and growth
Ensure full compliance with safeguarding policies and relevant regulatory standards
Build effective relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
Maintain accurate records, contribute to reviews, and support ongoing care planning
Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential
Experience working within a children's residential care setting - required
Leadership or shift-leading experience - highly desirable
Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
A child-focused, resilient, and empathetic approach
Full UK driving licence - preferred
