We are looking for a dedicated and experienced

Senior Residential Support Worker

to join our children's residential care team in

Stoke-on-Trent

. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the safety, development, and well-being of young people in a nurturing, therapeutic home.

As part of a child-focused organisation, you will play a key leadership role--supporting children with complex needs and guiding the team to deliver exceptional care and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people Act as a role model and provide support and guidance to junior staff Assist with the coordination and implementation of individual care plans Promote emotional well-being, independence, and life skills Participate in shift planning and foster a positive team culture Ensure a safe, structured, and compliant living environment Transport children to school, appointments, and external activities Maintain accurate records, reports, and risk assessments in line with regulations

Requirements



Minimum of 1 year of experience in residential childcare - Essential*
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards) Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle - Required*
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills A resilient, empathetic, and proactive approach Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
