We're thrilled to introduce Summer Hill Avenue, a

brand-new residential care home

opened in 2025. Nestled in the heart of Newport, Summerhill Lane will provide high-quality accommodation and support for up to

12 adults

with

Acquired Brain Injuries

and

Neurological Conditions

. As a new service, we are setting the standard for compassionate, personalized care, and creating an environment where residents can thrive, develop, and lead fulfilling lives.

About the Role




As a Senior Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in establishing a high standard of care, working alongside a dynamic team to support individuals and their families in every aspect of daily life. Your leadership will help us deliver a compassionate, person-centered approach to support.


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced

Senior Support Worker

to take a leadership role at our brand-new service. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day care delivery, supporting and mentoring a team of Support Workers, and ensuring each individual receives personalized care that helps them live independently and comfortably.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:



Lead by example, delivering hands-on support to residents and ensuring they receive high-quality care tailored to their individual needs. Supervise and mentor a team of Support Workers, providing guidance and support as they carry out their duties. Take responsibility for assessing and creating care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with care standards and regulations, maintaining the safety and well-being of everyone in the service. Develop and implement activities that support residents' personal development, independence, and emotional well-being. Coordinate care needs, including assisting with healthcare appointments, administering medication, and providing personal care where necessary. Maintain effective communication with residents, their families, and healthcare teams to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
