We are currently seeking multiple experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team across services in Wakefield. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others and can take on leadership responsibilities within a team.
You will assist with leading and developing teams, working in a supported living settings and be dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to live happy and fulfilled lives within their own home and out in the community.
Hours:
All roles are full time (39hours per week)
Shift patterns will vary depending on the service and the needs of the people we support. This can be discussed at interview.
Location:
We have a number of services across Wakefield. These are located in: South Kirby, South Elmsall, Ossett, Eastmoor and Featherstone.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
6 months experience in a support worker role (ideally in a senior or supervisory capacity)
A relevant qualification in the field of Health and Social Care at NVQ Diploma Level 2 (or equivalent or willingness to work towards it)
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
A valid UK driving licence (preferred, not always essential)
