As a Senior Support Worker, the post holder will assist the Service Manager in the day-to-day Running of the Service and Development for young people.

- Due to the nature of the role you must have a valid Driving License.

Act as an advocate for the young people regarding their support.
2.
Ensure that you encourage along with Leaving care staff that the Young People that you support receive the appropriate healthcare an education they require.
3.
To advise and complete staff regarding referrals to specialist services such as CAMHS and YOS.
4.
To Plan, identify and where appropriate and possible provide topical and specific training opportunities for staff to meet the needs of the young people.
5.
Your role will involve providing a link role of the young people between them and their social worker, education, health, community groups etc. You may also be required to assist in writing reports on the young person's progress, developing in-house placement plans and contributing to statutory review reports.

To attend reviews, educational and health meetings etc regarding the young people under our support and feedback.
7.
Conduct Supervisions with Staff under the guidance of the Service Manager
8.
As part of your Duties, you will be expected to perform on call as part of a rota.
9.
Be flexible and to adapt to the needs of the of the young people and service.
10.
To complete rota duties as and when required to.
Salary: 28,475.16.
