As a
Senior Support Worker
, you'll also work closely with and support the Registered Manager, assisting with service delivery, compliance checks, staff supervision, and ensuring high standards of care across all activities.
Duties
Provide hands-on support with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
Encourage participation in household activities, education, and community events.
Offer emotional support and promote mental well-being.
Accompany individuals to appointments and social outings safely.
Monitor health and well-being, escalating concerns when needed.
Lead and supervise the team, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
Maintain accurate records and respond to messages from families
Organise weekly activities and team meetings, ensuring schedules run smoothly.
Conduct compliance checks and ensure safety standards are met.
Collaborate on monthly reviews and strategic planning for service improvements.
About You
Experienced in social care or support work, ideally with leadership responsibilities - bonus points for supporting those with Neurodiversity!
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively
