Job Description

We are looking for an experienced senior officer who has the ability to solve and explain computer related issues. This post is temporary for 24 months.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
The primary responsibility of the Senior Systems Development and Implementation Officer is the development, implementation and support of information systems linked to children's social care and early help services. You will identify requirements, develop system specifications and support implementation plans to ensure that the system provided to frontline and managerial staff meet business needs.
You will have a clear focus on implementing the national children's social care reforms and will work alongside operational services and technical colleagues to ensure they are implemented according to the national guidance.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You will need:-

• NVQ Level 3 in business administration, ICT or information related subject or equivalent in a relevant discipline

• Experience of providing support to IT systems users.

• Experience of using a large database.

• Experience of understanding customer needs and translating these into system design.
