About the Role

This is a strategic, advisory-led role offering deep involvement in the commercial direction of client businesses. You will work closely with Directors and colleagues, helping to shape the firm's tax strategy and delivering tax planning to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed and commercially minded tax advisory and planning services
- Work with owner-managed businesses to deliver actionable, real-world advice
- Lead involvement in company restructuring and business planning
- Offer technical expertise in income tax, CGT, trusts, estates, and ideally stamp duty
- Prepare company accounts with a tax advisory lens
- Handle HMRC enquiries and negotiations, ensuring compliance and protection
- Stay up to date with legislation and distil complex tax law into clear guidance

About You

We are looking for someone with a sharp technical mind and commercial awareness -- someone who understands the broader business picture and is comfortable advising clients on more than just the numbers. Above all we want someone who will fit in with our team and culture.

Requirements:

- ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified
- Strong background in personal and business tax, including CGT, income tax, and trusts
- Experience working with owner-managed businesses
- Exposure to company restructuring and complex advisory cases
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on practical, client-facing advice
- Confident working with HMRC guidelines and manuals
- Desired - Experience with stamp duty, previous experience with EMI schemes and corporate restructuring.

Location: Ringwood & Wimborne (Hybrid available)

Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time
