The Role:



Are you passionate about driving excellence in teaching and learning? Oldham College is seeking a dynamic Senior Teaching and Learning Lead to coordinate and elevate the work of our Teaching and Learning team. This pivotal role supports the strategic development of teaching, learning, and assessment (TLA) across the college, ensuring high expectations, innovation, and continuous improvement.

As the Senior Lead, you will coordinate the Teaching and Learning team, lead cross-college initiatives, and champion professional development. You'll work closely with faculty leaders and cross-functional teams to embed a culture of reflective practice, digital pedagogy, and research-informed teaching. Requirements:


Proven track record of outstanding teaching and learner outcomes. Experience leading or mentoring teams to improve TLA practices. Strong understanding of the OFSTED framework for Further Education. Expertise in designing and delivering CPD aligned to strategic goals. Knowledge of current pedagogical research and digital learning tools. Ability to analyse data to inform planning and improvement.
