About the Role





We are seeking a highly capable and motivated individual to join our team as a

Senior Implementation Consultant

with a strong background in accounting and technology. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of financial services and modern SaaS tooling, and who can lead complex software rollouts with confidence and clarity.



The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in pre-sales and implementation for our platform, ensuring our customers receive a smooth transition to Karbon.


Key Responsibilities




Lead end-to-end software implementations

for accounting customers, inclusive of working with external contractors, managing data migrations, system configuration, integrations, and training for large user bases. Support the sales team with objection handling, acting as a subject matter expert to assist in closing deals Serve as a key liaison between the customer and internal teams including product, support, and sales. Analyse and resolve technical challenges, ensuring customers receive timely and effective solutions. Build and maintain a deep understanding of our platform's capabilities, APIs, and integration options. Act as a subject matter expert on the UK accounting software landscape, providing consultative guidance to customers.

Required Skills & Experience




Qualified accountant

(or equivalent practical experience working within or alongside accounting firms). Strong knowledge of the

UK-based accounting software ecosystem

. Practical experience with

APIs

and how they apply to integrations and workflow automation. 2-5 years experience

leading large-scale software implementation projects

, ideally within B2B SaaS or fintech environments. Proficient in

billing and payment processing software

and technology platforms. Excellent

problem-solving skills

, with the ability to think critically and independently in a fast-paced setting. Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Previous

sales experience

or comfort in consultative selling and upselling during customer engagements. Understanding of modern SaaS tools and best practices for user adoption.
