 PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 35,000 - 45,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. 
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 
 We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Operator to join the BBC Nations Operations team based in Newcastle until February 2026. 
 The ops team works alongside editorial colleagues in Regional TV, Local Radio and Online. We collaborate to produce engaging content and strong local journalism with high operational, craft and production standards for brands such as BBC Look North, BBC Radio Tees, BBC Radio Cumbria and BBC Radio Newcastle.
