Job Description

Purpose of the role:



Collaborate closely with customers, business development team and company stakeholders to identify and assess innovative products, features, and technologies that continuously advance our healthcare portfolio and address evolving customer needs.

Take ownership of the SSG clinical healthcare product portfolio, with responsibility for the product strategy, new product development roadmap and product life cycle from product specification, introduction, launch, through to maturity and obsolescence.

Serve as the technical subject matter expert for the full range of SSG and partner clinical healthcare products and solutions, as well as the supporting software tools that support their deployment and management.

Partner with the broader business development team to craft compelling value propositions, define strategic positioning, shape key messaging for brand campaigns, and design initiatives that drive long-term customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:



Monitor emerging healthcare technology trends and innovations to uncover strategic opportunities and anticipate potential threats. Working with other stakeholders to provide extensive analysis of products, customers, markets and competitors that will enrich our business intelligence and inform our decision-making for future projects. Understanding & influencing industry standards, legislation and certification requirements. Evaluate their impact on our product portfolio and identifying changes, improvements or NPD required to maintain or enhance our competitive position. Working closely with the business development team to generate value propositions / USPs, inform marketing briefs, and develop comms strategy for new and existing products. Defining, managing and communicating product life cycle for products in the clinical healthcare systems portfolio. Develop the new product roadmap of the clinical healthcare systems portfolio in line with the company key strategic initiatives. Taking the role of customer champion for product development activities to ensure that user requirements are identified, prioritised and delivered appropriately. Manage and coordinate product releases with the business development team, sales, product design and production teams. Support sales and marketing with product related inquiries, including customer presentations, workshops, and training. Provide commercial and technical product training for in house and partner sales teams.

Demonstratable product management experience of IP based products, ideally with experience of SaaS and cloud connectivity.
