Your main responsibilities




Are you passionate about developing people and driving growth through innovative technical training? Schindler is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Technical Trainer to join our team and support our mission of delivering smarter, faster, and more efficient knowledge transfer.


About the Role:





As a Technical Trainer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting Schindler's growth strategy by providing high-quality technical training across our organisation. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering global and local training programs, supporting employee development, and ensuring our team is professionally trained to meet business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:




Devise and implement technical training programs tailored to organisational needs. Produce training schedules and classroom agendas. Develop engaging course content and prepare training materials. Lead training sessions, webinars, workshops, and on-site training. Monitor and report on training progress, attendance, and effectiveness. Stay updated with the latest technologies and support certification programs. Collaborate on safety inspections and specialised training programs. Support the UK NVQ program. To mentor and support our field apprentices. Liaise with the external training providers and LEIA

What you bring




Personal Qualities:




Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking. Confident and engaging, especially in training environments. Passionate about training and developing others. Analytical with a strategic mindset and innovative approach.

Qualifications & Experience:




Strong knowledge of lift and escalator technologies and Schindler products. Expertise in modern training techniques and tools. Proficient in designing technical course content. Skilled in using MS Office, especially PowerPoint. Excellent communication and organisational skills. High technical competence in Schindler and third-party equipment. Experienced in developing and delivering training materials. Committed to promoting health and safety.

Core Competencies:




Full driving license required. Proven experience in the elevator and escalator industry. Experienced in both Construction and Maintenance/Service/Repair Flexible and prepared to travel, including overnight stays.
