Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves leading technical projects, ensuring quality assurance, and implementing HACCP principles to maintain the highest standards in our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record in technical and quality assurance leadership within a relevant industry.

Duties

To ensure that the necessary food safety, hygiene and quality standards are met and maintained throughout our factory in accordance with statutory regulation and customer/company requirements. Lead and manage technical projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Conduct thorough analysis of processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Oversee quality assurance protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Implement HACCP principles to enhance food safety and quality throughout the production process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and optimise operational efficiency. Mentor and guide junior technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team. Ensuring site compliance and reporting of non conformance issues relating to HACCP, approved suppliers, traceability, pest control, temperature etc.

Experience

Proven experience in a technical lead role or similar position within the relevant industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective strategies. In-depth knowledge of quality assurance practices and HACCP principles is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in mentoring or training team members. Food Hygiene and HACCP trained Good understanding of BRC and customer standards
