About The Role




We are seeking a

Senior Technician

who is an experienced user of AutoDesk Revit and AutoCAD, to support student software training for our Architecture and Interior Architecture/Design courses.

The role will also support the delivery of Twinmotion rendering software and broader visualisation and presentation using Adobe Creative Suite.

Working alongside academic colleagues you will help shape a core part of our students' journey. As part of the wider campus technical team, you will also link with 3D printing and scanning and laser cutting technicians and guide and support students with their model making where relevant.

About You




The successful candidate for this role will have at least three year's experience of using the above software professionally in practice and be confident with in communicating the core principles and application to the construction industry.

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:

Recent experience of curriculum support and assessment of technical aspects in a relevant subject. Ability to service and maintain relevant technical facilities, equipment and processes. Experience of writing, using and carrying out risk assessments in an appropriate technical environment The ability to engage with students in the realisation of concepts through practical application and taught sessions
