Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for a highly capable and motivated Test Manager to join our growing Consulting Quality Engineering Team. You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering large-scale transformation programmes for clients, with a strong focus on Finance, Banking & Capital Markets, and Insurance--while also engaging across other sectors where needed. This is a client-facing role in a fast-paced consulting environment that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement--where quality is a business driver.

You'll lead the testing workstream across complex, end-to-end technology programmes featuring market-leading ERP, CRM, HR/Payroll, and Insurance platforms. Responsibilities include defining the test strategy, coordinating resources across distributed teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery through robust planning, governance, and stakeholder management. You'll work closely with programme leadership and multi-vendor partners to embed testing excellence throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Our Quality Engineering team is expanding rapidly to meet demand for robust, intelligent testing solutions. You'll help shape how we evolve our services, adopt new tools and ways of working, and bring innovative thinking--including automation and AI to improve testing delivery.

This role suits someone with strong consulting experience who enjoys client engagement, thrives in complex delivery environments, and is aiming toward the next step in leadership while maintaining hands-on delivery excellence. Candidates with deep experience in financial services and insurance are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the testing workstream for large-scale transformation programmes involving enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, HR/Payroll, and Insurance solutions. Define and implement the overall test strategy, governance, and quality framework, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and client expectations. Manage end-to-end test planning and execution across functional and non-functional testing phases, driving consistency and efficiency across releases. Lead and coordinate diverse testing teams across onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery models, fostering collaboration and accountability. Collaborate closely with programme leadership, business stakeholders, and multiple vendors to ensure coherent, integrated, and value-driven test delivery. Drive the adoption of test automation and CI/CD integration to enhance delivery speed, repeatability, and product quality. Introduce AI and emerging technologies to optimise testing delivery and promote data-driven quality improvements. Contribute to business development activities, including bid and RFP support, service offering enhancement, and thought leadership initiatives.

Skills and Experience

Proven experience leading test management for complex, multi-phase transformation programmes. Background in consulting environments with demonstrated success in client engagement, delivery assurance, and stakeholder management. Strong understanding of test strategy, execution, and governance across SIT, UAT, and Non-Functional Testing, with the ability to tailor approaches to different delivery models. Skilled in managing cross-functional, distributed teams, with the ability to mentor, coach, and inspire performance. Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps, and working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies. Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and the integration of test automation frameworks and tools within CI/CD pipelines. Awareness of how AI and analytics can be leveraged to improve testing delivery, insights, and reporting quality. * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to driving quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
