Job Description

Overview:

As a Senior Test / Development Engineer you will be responsible in conjunction with our design team for the development of new test procedures and the associated equipment along with general test and fault diagnosis of electronic systems across a wide range of customer products.

Duties will include:

Technical supervision of test activities undertaken by technician staff. Diagnosis and resolution of issues with products under test. Maintenance and improvement of existing Test Rigs / Equipment / Programs Specification, development and construction of new Test Rigs / Test Equipment.

Requirement:

This role would suit a "hands-on" engineer with a broad range of skills from mechanical and electronic construction, through to programming. You would ideally be educated to degree level in electronics or a related engineering discipline. However, previous demonstrable experience in a similar role or industry will be accepted in lieu of formal qualifications.

You should have a keen eye for detail and an aptitude for delivering 'right first time' results against challenging project timescales. Good general computer skills are essential.

Where necessary, specific system level training will be provided.

Benefits:

This position offers 20 days holiday plus an extra day for each complete years service to a maximum of 24 days plus paid bank holidays, 5% employer and 4% employee pension scheme, free parking.

4 Day Working Week - Mon - Thurs 7am to 5pm
