Senior Therapeutic Support Worker (Team Leader)
to join our expanding team in Swadlincote.
With two Ofsted-rated "Good" homes and a third opening soon, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive, child-focused organisation providing high-quality, therapeutic care to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver consistent, high-quality care and emotional support in a residential setting
Lead, guide, and motivate a team of support workers to maintain excellent standards of care
Assist in the development and implementation of individual care and support plans
Participate in team meetings, handovers, and case reviews to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory and safeguarding standards
Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals
Promote a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can thrive
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- essential
Minimum of 1 year's experience in a children's residential setting - preferred
Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role - desirable
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Compassionate, resilient, and child-centred approach to care
Full UK Driving Licence

Good understanding of safeguarding legislation and residential care standards
