We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Customer Service Assistant (Supervisor) to support our Till and Customer Service Manager in leading our customer service team. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer interactions, and maintaining high standards of service delivery. Duties
Supervise and support the customer service team to ensure efficient and professional service delivery
Monitor daily operations, including managing escalations and resolving complex customer issues
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team performance and product knowledge
Implement strategies for upselling products and services to maximise sales opportunities
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and team performance metrics
Coordinate with other departments such as merchandising and logistics to ensure seamless service provision
Foster a positive working environment through effective communication, motivation, and organisational skills
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards
Utilise phone etiquette and organisational skills to manage high call volumes efficiently
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory role within customer service or retail environments
Strong communication skills
Demonstrable ability in merchandising, upselling, and utilisation of organisational tools
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Experience in handling diverse customer needs with professionalism and tact
Familiarity with basic maths for transaction handling and data analysis
Ability to demonstrate effective phone etiquette and organisational skills in a fast-paced setting
