We are excited to announce the opening of our new state-of-the-art facility in South West London, dedicated to showcasing our Trade & Retail products. We are looking for an experienced Senior Trade Counter Sales Executive to join our team and help us make this venture a success. Our new store combines the best of a Builders Merchant with key features of a Hardware Store, catering to both trade professionals and DIY enthusiasts.

Senior Trade Counter Sales Executive

Location:

London, SW9

Salary:

27,000 - 33,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We are seeking a candidate with substantial experience in supervising sales within the Independent Builders' Merchant sector. You should possess a deep product knowledge and a proactive "can-do" attitude, with the flexibility to adapt to various responsibilities in our growing business.

In this role, you will take ownership of your department, crafting a shopping experience that exceeds our customers' expectations--whether they are professional traders, contractors, or DIY fans.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

- Have a proven sales record and industry experience.

- Be sales-oriented, with a passion for driving business growth.

- Demonstrate responsibility and initiative in their work.

- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively.

- Build strong relationships with colleagues and customers to encourage repeat business.

- Pay attention to detail, especially in stock monitoring and ordering.

- Ensure high standards of store presentation, merchandising, and cleanliness.

- Be highly computer literate, with experience using POS systems or computer sales systems.

Commute/Relocation:

- Must be able to reliably commute to London, SW9 9AE, or plan to relocate before starting.

Experience Required:

- Minimum of 5 years in Trade/DIY retail sales.
