We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Transport Planner to join our Highways, Traffic and Enforcement team. Based primarily at Ty Blaen depot in New Inn, this role offers flexible working arrangements between the office and home.

As a Senior Transport Planner, you will:

Lead and manage the delivery of the Active Travel and Safer Routes in the Communities programmes, promoting sustainable and inclusive transport options. Develop and implement innovative transport strategies and policies that support the long-term vision for Torfaen and the wider South East Wales region. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Welsh Government, Transport for Wales, and neighbouring authorities, to align local initiatives with regional and national priorities. Provide expert advice on transport planning matters, contributing to strategic decision-making and policy development.
