Senior Transport Planner

Universal Tanker Solutions is entering a bold new phase of expansion, with ambitious plans to scale our operations over the next 3-5 years. As part of this journey, we're seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Transport Planner to join our growing team at our head office in Stokesley.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone with solid experience in transport planning who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment. You'll play a key role in designing and coordinating efficient routes for our fleet, managing complex liquid load movements, and ensuring operational excellence across the board.

What You'll Be Doing:

Planning and optimising daily fleet movements across the UK using Mandata and Microsoft Excel

Designing routes for liquid loads in a dynamic environment, factoring in load integrity, delivery windows, compliance, and real-time variables

Liaising with drivers and customers to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations

Supporting the Operations Manager with day-to-day coordination and strategic improvements

Processing customer orders and maintaining high standards of service and communication

What You'll Bring:

Proven experience in transport planning or logistics coordination, ideally with exposure to bulk or liquid logistics

Strong working knowledge of Mandata and Excel

Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK

Clear communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure

A full UK driving licence

Ability to pass a DBS check
