Job Description


Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Transport Planner to join their team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing transportation plans and strategies that support sustainable and efficient transportation networks in the context of new development projects. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and a deep understanding of transportation planning in the context of development.

Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7Work closely with developers, local authorities, and transport operators to ensure transportation planning and infrastructure are integrated into new development projects.
\xc2\xb7Develop transportation plans and strategies that support sustainable and efficient transportation networks within new development projects.
\xc2\xb7Conduct transportation studies and traffic analysis to inform development planning.
\xc2\xb7Evaluate and recommend transportation improvements and infrastructure projects within the context of new development projects.
\xc2\xb7Provide technical expertise on transportation-related matters to internal and external stakeholders.
\xc2\xb7Collaborate with other departments to ensure transportation planning aligns with broader organisational goals.
\xc2\xb7Stay up to date with developments in transportation technology, trends, and best practices.

Requirements:
\xc2\xb7Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, or a related field. A Master\'s degree is preferred but not required.
\xc2\xb7Experience in transportation planning within the context of development.
\xc2\xb7Experience conducting transport assessments, transport statements and traffic analysis in the context of development planning.
\xc2\xb7Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
\xc2\xb7Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
\xc2\xb7Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders.
\xc2\xb7Knowledge of transportation technology, trends, and best practices within the context of development planning.
\xc2\xb7Proficiency in transportation planning software.
